If you follow me on instagram, it’s pretty obvious I love açai bowls or smoothie bowls of any kind so I figured I’d show you how I make them! Açai bowls are typically made of açai packs or powder, fruit, and plantbased milk or water. You can even add protein powders, carob powder, cacao powder, etc! They are then topped with an assortment of things such as fruit, granola, cacao nibs, coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, basically anything you’d like.
Easy Açai Bowl
- 1 Samabazon açai pack
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 8 oz coconut water
- 1/2 cup of strawberries
- 1/4 cup of kiwis
- 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- Add 1 açai pack, 1 frozen banana, 1 cup of blueberries, and 8 oz of coconut water to a blender and blend until it forms a sorbet-like consistency.
- While the açai blends, cut your strawberries in half and your kiwi into slices (I prefer to leave the skin on but you could definitely remove it).
- Transfer the açai to a bowl and add your strawberries and kiwis on top then sprinkle your coconut on top.
You could definitely customize this! I always enjoy topping it with hemp seeds, blueberries, mango, dragonfruit, passionfruit, and rawnola but the possibilities are endless.
